Maranatha Baptist Church – Villamonte will still hold its scheduled Sunday services.
However, we strongly advice everyone to observe these safety guidelines when attending our preaching services.
Covid-19 can be transmitted from person to person through close and prolonged contact. We hope that everyone will follow these items to minimize and eliminate new infection when we gather together.
1. Wash your Hands
Do proper and frequent handwash for at least 20 seconds with soap; or sanitize hands with alcohol, hand sanitizer, or alchohol wipes.
2. Cover your Mouth when Coughing or Sneezing
Observe proper cough and sneezing etiquette. Cover mouth with handkerchief; for tissue, dispose properly after use. Avoid spitting your phlegm anywhere.
3. Observe Social Distancing
Please avoid close contact with other people when choosing a seat during our church service. Maintain a safe distance when from others when sitting or standing.
4. Avoid Physical Contact
Let us give our warm Christian greetings to others, but in the meantime, let us avoid hand shakes, hugs, and kissing.
5. Self-Isolate if Needed
If you are sick (example: having a cough or colds), please stay at home, get a good rest, and eat healthy food. Inform your elders or deacons if you are not feeling well.
Parents are advised to let babies and toddlers stay at home instead of bringing them to church; they are vulnerable to any kinds of bacteria and viruses. This advise goes also to the elderly.
Please stay at home if you have:
- A family member at home who have flu-like symptoms
- Traveled or met someone who just traveled from other countries, particularly, in countries which have high incidence of virus-infected cases.
For those who traveled recently in areas affected by the virus, we strongly recommend that you go on voluntary self-quarantine at your home at least for 14 days.
Take care and God bless us all.
