What is Missionary Care?
As a commitment to help our brothers and sisters who serve in God’s vineyard, we welcome any assistance that we could give to our missionaries and pastors. The missionary care is one of our major initiatives for the 54th Missions Conference.
We have multiple venues for accommodating various forms of donations.
What Can I Give?
1. Missionary Coin Bank
The humble coin bank is a simple gesture where everyone from the young children to young professionals can participate in. You take any container you can have. It may be an old water bottle, a tin can, or a piggy bank. Fill it up with coins so we can distribute it to our visiting missionaries during our conference.
On November 24, the Sunday before the start of our 54th Missions Conference, we will collect these coin banks and offer them during our First, Main Preaching, and Evening services.
2. Stuffs for Mini Boutique
Do you have old clothes, shoes, and pants that you don’t wear anymore? Why not donate it and give it a second life as a clothing for our missionaries? All your donated goods will be curated for our mini boutique where our visiting missionaries and pastors can pick and choose.
Who knows, you old polo may be a pastor’s new favorite attire for his Sunday service?
3. Technological Gadgets
In our modern age today, it may be inconceivable for us to live without our smartphones and laptops. However, some our missionaries don’t have these modern devices. Imagine how their work could be changed if they have a tablet like yours where they can read the Bible or share PowerPoint slides during their services.
Your old iPhone or Android smartphone or laptop may be a life changing instrument that could further enhance the knowledge of our missionaries – and even accelerate the spread of the gospel to the world.
4. Cash Donations
If you have a greater love for the missions, you can express it through cash donations through our special offerings every Sunday or a direct donation to our pastors.
Your donation will also be given to our visiting missionaries and pastors during the 54th Missions Conference.
5. Blood Donation
Our annual blood donation will happen on December 7 – a week after our Missions Conference.
If you are healthy and able to donate, you can go to MBC. Make sure you are well rested the day before and you no intake of special medications. Tests will be conducted prior to the actual blood donation.
